Winning Concours International de Jeunes Chefs d'Orchestre de Besançon 2019 at 32, the highly acclaimed Japanese conductor Nodoka OKISAWA has built a busy career with invitations to perform with many important orchestras around the world. She will be the 14th principle conductor of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra in April 2023, becoming the first female musician taking the position since the orchestra founded in 1956. This concert will make maestro OKISAWA’s debut with any Chinese orchestra, for which she selects a program comprising works by three Japanese composers along with other new works for the Chinese orchestra. Don’t miss the opportunity to closely experience the exuberant energy and stage charisma emitting from the podium in this concert.
